 The story of Corteaura starts with the desire to create a superior quality Franciacorta wine. A product of absolute excellence, meticulously cared for and defined in its every detail. Truly tasty and simply perfect.

 Fattoria di Magliano: an exclusively organic approach. 

The Fattoria's vineyards are located amongst hills at about 300m a.s.l., descending gently towards the Tyrrhenian Sea, Mount Argentario and the Isle of Giglio. The precious texture of the soil, exposition of the vines to the sun, limited annual rainfalls, and a completely different climate to that of inland Tuscany all support and facilitate organic agriculture. 

Refined elegance steeped in local history.

Located on Sant'Antioco island in the South West of Sardinia, Sardus Pater is a thriving co-operative deeply rooted in the area's two-thousand year old winemaking traditions. 

The land of Chianti Classico.

 This farm, dating back to 1300, extends for 385 hectares, 90 of which vineyards and 15 olive groves.  

 The Sangiovese grape variety is the absolute protagonist of Tenuta di Nozzole, where, in a unique ecosystem of Mediterranean scrubland, expresses all its potential. The cultivation of Sangiovese is flanked by a Chardonnay vineyard called Le Bruniche intended for the production of the estate’s white wine and by two other Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards for the production of Supertuscan Il Pareto. 

The Origin of Supertuscan.

  For over forty years, the Supertuscans wine of Tenute del Cabreo have surprised with their character and elegance. La Pietra, Chardonnay Toscana IGT, Black, Pinot Nero Toscana IGT, represent the Burgundian style in Tuscany by assimilating the peculiarities of the Terroir. Cabreo Il Borgo has been exciting since 1982 with its historic blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. 

The land of Chianti Classico.

 Montepulciano, located between the Chiana Valley and the Val d’Orcia, has been an area suited to the cultivation of quality Sangiovese for over 300 years. In 1685, Francesco Redi, poet, doctor and naturalist, declared in his dithyramb “Bacchus in Tuscany”: Montepulciano is the King of all wines   

. 

Brunello, a vine, a story .

  Tenuta La Fuga is located in the historic village of Camigliano southwest of Montalcino. The proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea, the soils rich in fossils as a result of the lands that emerged in the Pliocene epoch, and the sediments of the now extinct volcano Mount Amiata, characterise the Sangiovese variety cultivated for the production of Brunello, also giving it softness, power, intensy and elegance.

 The wine yard is an oasis of happiness and serenity, from which the wine itself seems rewarded, being nourished by it.  The essence of it is generated from the marly soil of our hills, where the largest part of our vineyards are located. The breath-taking scenery and the crisp air work together to lend a wise harmony to this wine and to the spirit of its taster.  

Welcome to the borderlands of Friuli.

 A unique and unmistakeable notes to each bunch of grapes. .

   The amphitheatre of the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, crossed by the “Prosecco and Wine Trail of the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills”, surrounded by the two areas that give “DOC” and DOCG” status (“Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin”) to Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Prosecco, just 50km from Venice and not far from the Dolomite mountains. 

Delicious and charming Piedmont

Located in the village of Dogliani, Cozzo Mario traces its origin to the early 1800’s and lays claim as the towns oldest operating producer.  Now in its fifth generation of stewardship, the estate and winemaking duties are carried out by cousins GianLuca DeMaria and Daniele Cozzo.

Sitting at 440-490 meters, the property is comprised of ten hectares divided between two farms, Cascina Lasagna and Cascina Braida.   

Lying just south of the village of Barolo, Dogliani is most noted for the production of Dolcetto receiving official DOCG status in 2001.The farms soils reflect both clay and marl with scatterings of limestone.

The heart of Maremma

 Tenuta Vigne a Porrona is located in the municipality of Cinigiano in the province of Grosseto. The heart of the Maremma hinterland, between the Ombrone Valley, the Val d’Orcia and the western slopes of Monte Amiata, is characterised by soils rich in minerals, a Mediterranean-type climate and the presence of constant ventilation, characteristics that allow a perfect ripening of the grapes.

Our roots are who we are

When you continue a family tradition, on the one hand there is the fear of change, and on the other hand there is the desire to do something new, to leave an imprint that can be seen by future generations.
The judgment in the end is all in a glass of wine, to be savored, to be smelled. And when you can share it with others, then you know you have done the right thing.

A long-standing tradition

One hundred and twenty-five years of tradition are an important legacy: a wealth of expertise, anecdotes and values that we seek to maintain and make known through our wines.

Our vineyards are situated both in the zone for Valpolicella and in that of Soave, allowing us to produce both types of wine. Our sites, thanks to their different microclimates, yield grapes that highlight the typical characteristics of their particular places of origin.

 Wines created with love and respect for the land

 Etna isn’t just a volcano. Etna is “A’Muntagna”, as those who live in harmony with it call it: an ecosystem made up of lots of components and microclimates, which vary not only according to the exposition, but also due to the composition of the soils.

Making wine on the Muntagna means being in a world unto itself. The light, the thermal excursions, the harvest period: all are different from the rest of the island, and the rainfall and average temperatures also differ. The northern slope is the zone now recognized as being the one from which the great wines of Etna come, and where Nerello Mascalese has found the ideal cradle in which to prosper, grow and produce wines with great complexity.
